In the short term, I'm going to put up a POS somewhere in Caldari space. Kaye has some research and production skills, but I've never taken full advantage of those. A passive income stream would be nice, too. I'm considering writing a beginner's guide to POS activities. There are several technical POS guides available, but I haven't found the 'tactical to practical' bridge, just yet. If you know of such a guide, drop a comment. I'd appreciate it!
While I'm waiting for the standings reset in my corp, I'll be mining and missioning some. One of the downsides to leaving Uni is that I no longer have access to a shared freighter from Uni hangars. To fill that slot in my TOE, I need about 70M units of trit. I have sufficient quantities of everything else in my mineral stocks to do a minerals + build fee deal for an Obelisk.
Kaye finished Cloaking IV yesterday, and immediately fitted a Helios and refitted a Viator, adding a CovOps cloak. A road trip may be in order. I understand that Evati has seen some interesting events of late. ;)

I don't know if you've seen it yet, but this is what I've read, and found it very helpful to learn about POSes and related information about them. I'll hopefully be ready for POS fueling soon with Caldari Indy V just about finished.

I suggest exploring the RPing side of EVE.
check out the channel rf freight. They are cheap and fast.
My pos guide is in my blog, but as it was already linked on the uni boards, you might have already seen it - if not, feel free to have a look, its intended to be geared to the starter in the field.
The Viator is an excellent ship, especially now that it can cloak. I also swear by the Helios since it has yet to serve me wrong. Make sure to read up on a POS before you start making one. I have a failed one floating around in pieces somewhere...

I agree with Psyche, explore the RP side... and at least once experience the feeling of -5.0 security status... it'll make you wanna feel -10.0 :D
I expect to rejoin New Eden soon and when I do I think I'm going to adhere more tightly to my RP-side's wishes.. should be fun!
